English
Learners

English language learners need to acquire the English language skills necessary to access the content area knowledge they need for school success. In this section, you will learn more about English learners and how to best support their specific needs in the classroom.

Dual Language Program

In the Dual Language program, students are taught literacy and academic content in English and a partner language with a goal of high academic achievement in both languages.​ In this section, you will learn more about the guiding principles and key features of DL programs and how they impact teaching and learning.
